Leading by example and changing her community

Guest: Jody Wilson-Raybould (Member of Parliament, Change Maker)

While that isn’t an official job title, that is what Jody Wilson-Raybould is: “a change maker.” Her career as a lawyer, as a leader within her community and with First Nations across Canada positioned her to become an elected member of the 2015 Liberal government. She was appointed as the Minister of Justice by a prime minister who said that he valued her independent thinking and adherence to the law. Her principled response to a politically explosive issue cost her her job and ultimately lead her to stand alone as an independent member of parliament.

Ms. Wilson-Raybould shares her journey with us in this episode of Careers That Matter.
