Matt Harper’s job at Invinity Energy Systems is all about balance – balancing the development and distribution of renewable energy products, balancing his commercial and executive roles in the company, and balancing all the work between Canada and the United Kingdom. As he says, “It is a job that does not let one get bored.”

It seems like a long time coming. Matt’s journey starts with learning how electronics work, leading to a mechanical engineering background. His time at the University of British Columbia and Massachusetts Institute of Technology gave him the experience needed to launch his career in the clean energy and battery business – a role that he holds today.
