Guest: Volodya Gusak (co-founder, DENCITI Development Corporation)

Volodya Gusak co-founded DENCITI Development Corporation in 2018. The Vancouver-based real estate development company creates urban, industrial, commercial, and residential developments.

A Chartered Professional Accountant by training, Mr.Gusak has eleven years of experience in the financial and development industries. He leads a team that uses an intensive creative planning and problem-solving process in the development of properties.

Mr. Gusak was born in Ukraine and is multilingual. He left Ukraine at age 17 when he won a full academic scholarship to the United World College of the Atlantic in Wales. After graduating with an International Baccalaureate, he came to Canada when he received a scholarship to attend Simon Fraser University. When he completed his accounting training, he became a successful entrepreneur. He co-founded his first company, VanSkyline Construction, in 2012.

Mr. Gusak is actively involved in mentoring others in the business community. He works as a coach and mentor for SFU business students. He is a Director of Young Urban Professionals in Real Estate (YUPRE), a non-profit business networking group for real estate professionals under age 45.
